Remembering Miriam Korber
Wind, Snow, Snowstorm, Cold
Only Today, Do I start Again
To Describe The Horrible Things
That We Lived
I Saw What Human Misery Means
I Saw People Without A Human Face
I Saw Children With Swollen Eyes
I Saw Children With Frozen Feet
I Saw Children With Helpless Little Hands
I Saw Mothers With Dead Children in Their arms
I Saw Old People wrapped in rags
They Were Chased Away
They Were Infested With Typhus
They Were Covered In Lice
Almost Starved To Death
I Don't Think There is a Need
To Have A Hell For Sinners
Everyone Who Lives What We Have
Is Absolved Of All Sins
I Broke Down And Cried
Because Of The Cold and Fear
My Fingers, I Could
Not Longer move Them
Why Is There In Us
Such A Yearning For Life ?
